Cook the rice according the instructions.
Kidneybean steaks, (recipe from the blog Keittiö ja keittiö)
- 1 big onion
- one big garlic glove
- 4 spoons of seeds, I put soy protein (soijarouhe)
- 400 g of kidneybeans
- 2 to 4 spoons of soy flour
- 1,5 dl of water
- spices: salt, pepper, paprika etc.
Slice the onion and garlic. Squash the beans in a bowl, I just used a fork. Add and mix all the ingredients. Somehow my version seemed a bit moist so I added more of soy protein. Bake the steaks on a pan with oil so that they are crispy from both sides. Also I had the little bit typical problem of vege steaks, these didn't hold so well together, maybe making them smaller is an option? I don't mind though.
Steaming of kale:
- rinse the kale with water
- cut it in suitable size to eat
- put as much water to the lower of the steaming pans, so that the one with holes will not be covered with water.
- place the kale on the upper pot.
- boil for five minutes under the lid.
Creamy sauce:
- add some oil to a small pan, add 1 spoon of flour, stir for some minutes.
- add the cream
- mix also with an eggbeater
- add a teaspoon of salt'n pepa
